The Electrical & Electronics Engineering is a dynamic and rapidly growing field that brings various career opportunities in dual areas such as electric power generation, transmission, distributions and switch gears and circuits, robotics and control, computer hardware and much more. As an electrical engineer, an individual deals with the power generation, conversion, transmission, distribution, usage of electrical power etc. He also involves in designing and implementing devices like electric motors, machinery and ignition systems used in industry. The B.Tech degree program in EEE is designed to achieve a balance between depth of knowledge acquired through specialization and breadth of knowledge gained through exploration. This provides a comprehensive foundation in the core topics of EEE coupled with an area of specialization relevant to emerging engineering challenges.
The curriculum has been designed to create professional electrical and electronic engineers, who can serve in the fields of core electrical engineering, information and communication systems and other related fields.
The department also conducts many student level National Technical Symposia to enhance the students technical skills and to update their knowledge in modern developments in engineering and technology.
